Usage
Blonde lentils are a natural product and, despite careful cleaning, may still contain a stone that came from the field.
To serve: Delicious in a salad or with a tomato salad and mashed potatoes. Recipe tip: Blonde lentils with fried bacon, onion and apple. Ingredients for 4 to 6 people: 500 g HAK Blonde lentils, 2 containers (400 g) lean smoked bacon cubes, 2 onions, 2 tbsp oil, 4 sweet and sour apples in pieces, 400 g cherry tomatoes.
Preparation method: Boil the blonde lentils until done (see preparation method on the side of the package). Fry the bacon in the oil until crispy. Add the onion and
add apple cubes and let it sauté for about 2 minutes. Add the lentils and let it warm up for about 5 minutes on a medium heat. In the meantime, cut the
cherry tomatoes in two pieces. Add the cherry tomatoes and let everything simmer over low heat for another minute. Did you know that lentils are a good alternative to rice, potatoes or pasta and fit well in a day without meat?
Preparation: Preparation For 4 to 6 people: 1. Wash 500g blonde lentils and bring to the boil with 3 liters of water. 2. Let it simmer for 30-35 minutes. Blonde lentils are a natural product. As a result, the cooking time may vary. 3. Drain water when the blond lentils are done and add salt as desired.
