  This wine has become an icon for the changes that have taken place in the viticulture of Sicily. After years of producing bulk wine, Alessio Planeta showed that top wines can also be made. This wood-aged, highly concentrated chardonnay won all prizes at international competitions. The grapes for these wines come from the West of Sicily, from 'La Dispensa'. The hilly country and the proximity of the sea provide a temperate climate that allows the grapes to ripen slowly and the aromas to develop optimally.
