This Chardonnay from the Languedoc is made from organically grown grapes and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The latter may sound strange because you do not immediately link wine to animals, but animal protein can be used during preparation, for example to make the wine clear. Not that you taste anything of it, but with this Be Bio Chardonnay with the vegan logo you can be sure that that is not the case. This full-bodied wine with a range of aromas from ripe apple and mango to vanilla and coconut drinks wonderfully as a glass on its own, goes surprisingly well with spicy blue cheese such as camembert and taleggio and is suitable for the warm, spicy taste of Moroccan stews.
