        Description

This frying pan is made of cast iron with a matte black enamel coating. The heavy pan has a thickness of 3.5 mm and the bottom is 4.2 mm. The casserole is suitable for any heat source and can also be used in the oven. Ideal for preparing stews, braised meat, vegan vegetable casseroles or other slow-cooking dishes. The heat is evenly distributed, from the base to the lid. The casserole is suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and induction cooking and because the lid has a stainless steel knob, you can also use it in the oven up to a maximum of 200°C. Tips: Before first use, wash the pan and lightly grease the inside with salad oil. Never heat the pan without contents and preheat the pan to the lowest energy setting before use. For efficient energy use: always adjust the gas flame so that it remains within the perimeter of the base. Therefore, on hobs, always use the cooking zone that most closely matches the bottom diameter of the pan. Use wooden or heat-resistant plastic cookware instead of sharp or metal objects, as these can damage the non-stick coating. Do not bring the pan directly into contact with cold water after use, let it cool down first. The inside and outside are best cleaned with a soft washing-up brush and washing-up liquid. Never use steel wool or abrasive cleaners. If the pan is very dirty or burnt, let it soak in lukewarm water for some time, after which the pan can be cleaned in the usual way. Please note: when frying, the pan may be filled with a maximum of 2 liters of oil or fat. Do not allow children near the stove during use. Under no circumstances should you move the frying pan if it is filled with hot fat or oil. Also prevent moisture from getting into the hot fat or oil. Overheating the pan can cause the “flame in the pan”, even if the pan is on a hob. In that case, cover the frying pan with the lid. Never extinguish with water.
