Cecchi La mora maremma toscana

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

In 1893 Luigi Cecchi gave himself the title of professional taster. He was thus the first official 'palatista' (taster) of Italy and knew how to separate the wheat from the chaff. That is very useful if you trade in wine. Luigi selected the best Chiantis and ensured that the high quality of Tuscan wine received attention, both within and especially outside Italy. Cecchi thus became one of the first international wine brands. In the beginning, everything revolved around Chianti: over time, the other great wines of Tuscany were added. In addition to trading, the Cecchi's have also started growing grapes themselves. The current owners Andrea and Cesare Cecchi are committed to sustainable viticulture and preserving the specific character of Tuscan wines.
