When you think of Bordeaux, you might think of expensive, chic wines from chateaus with a huge reputation on the one hand or a bit old-fashioned wines from the old world on the other. There's some truth in both, but it's not right. Bordeaux produces delicious wines that are almost priceless and there are wineries that piggyback on the success of the top and charge too much money for simple wines. At Bon Ami they don't do that either. Year in, year out, they make simply good, modern Bordeaux in a fruity, smooth, juicy style. The house is located in the Entre-deux-Mers, the area between the Dordogne and Garonne. These are two rivers that form the Gironde a little further.
