Château Juguet Saint-milion grand cru

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

Chateau Juguet is located in the commune of Saint-Pey dArmens, south of the town of Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux. It is owned by the Moueix family, which also owns the famous winery Petrus. The vines are on average 25 years old. The wine has matured for 12 months in barrique, a barrel of new oak. A year of barrel aging is sufficient to make the wine softer and rounder, and also short enough to preserve the fresh fruitiness. Chateau Juguet is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. The wine region has different classifications from Premier Grand Cru to the 'ordinary' appellation d'origine protegee, AOP, which used to be the AOC. Grand Cru is a quality level above this AOP.
