Christophe Cordier Pouilly-fuissé

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

Pouilly Fuisse is the most famous appellation in the Macon, a sub-region of Burgundy. On the hillside of the village of Fuisse, Christophe Cordier's estate offers a view of the vineyards. Cordier turns the chardonnay from these sunny slopes into a full, wood-aged dinner wine with ripe fruit, the creaminess of vanilla and some spicy wood notes. An absolute success with cod or chicken in a creamy sauce, but it also combines surprisingly well with a (vegetarian) curry.
