The makers of this wine call their Coyam a 'big-bodied-red-wine' where you can eat the best rib-eye or spareribs. It is also a real powerhouse, that's true, but with a small heart because its aftertaste is nice and soft. It comes from winery Emiliana. This bodega was the first in Chile to choose to work organically and biodynamically. Emiliana Organico sees the soil as a living organism in which the visible and invisible forces connect to create healthy ecosystems. In their view, this contributes to social prosperity and better wine. Coyam stands for a Chilean oak tree and refers to the trees around the vineyards. The word comes from the language of the Mapuche Indians.
