Georges Ortola has been working organically since 1983 and has had all organic certificates for years now. Together with his wife and children he grows grapes and makes wines at two chateaus. The family adventure started at Chateau Tapie where this succulent rose comes from. It consists of grenache, cinsault and syrah. Immediately after harvesting, the grapes are pressed. In addition, a small amount of red coloring from the peel ends up in the juice: this gives it its salmon-pink hue. After that, the fermentation starts and not much happens anymore. Georges Ortola works as naturally as possible, even in the cellar. For example, he does not add sulfur, so that the wine contains hardly any sulphite. That is only possible if the grapes are ripe and perfectly healthy. All in all, the result is a delicious wine that tastes pure, fresh and fruity. Really a rose to enjoy very relaxed together.
