    Usage

    1. Open the housing on the back of the thermometer to insert a AAA battery. Battery not included.
    2. Expand the probe to turn on the thermometer. The LCD screen turns on, displays all options and then displays the current probe temperature. Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn off.
    3. The thermometer is set to display temperatures in Celsius and Fahrenheit. To switch to Celsius, press the °C/°F button. Store the maximum temperature by pressing the °C/°F button for 6 seconds (this button records the maximum temperature).
    4. Insert the probe into the thickest part of the food to determine the temperature.
    5. Hold data: Before pulling the probe out of the food, press the “HOLD” button. It then displays the temperature value until pressed again.
    6. The temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
    7. The thermometer will automatically turn off after 10 minutes if no other buttons are pressed.
    If you use the thermometer with an induction hob switched on, the sensitive probe will be disturbed. When you switch off the hob or remove the pan from the hob and then measure, it will immediately indicate a temperature.
    Wash the metal probe in soapy water.
    Clean the thermometer by hand.
    Never immerse the thermometer completely in water.
    The metal probe can be sterilized by soaking in boiling water for several minutes. Warnings and restrictions on use

    - Do not leave the thermometer in the oven during cooking.
    - Do not touch the hot probe with bare hands.
    - Keep out of the reach of children.
    - Do not use above an induction hob that is switched on.
