If you like a light, fresh white wine that is pleasantly fragrant, lingers softly, but tastes really dry - so not sweet at all - then try this Silvaner. Silvaner is a grape from which top wines are made, especially in the German Franken. With this Divino you get a good example of such a dry, German Silvaner. The nice thing about the succulent Silvaner is that you can drink it solo, just like that on the couch at night, and it pairs incredibly well with dishes that are known as troublemakers for wine. Asparagus with poached egg, spicy pumpkin soup, curries with coconut, roquefort cheese fondue: a Silvaner adapts fearlessly. What is also striking is the bottle, the so-called 'bocksbeutel', symbol of the Franken region. Very clumsy in the fridge, but authentic and original.
