Divino Nordheim Silvaner dry
Delightful wine to enjoy just like that. It is German, dry, and made from silvaner, the grape of Franconia. Bottled in the traditional bocksbeutel bottle. Also tasty with cheese fondue. Color, taste: white, fresh and dry Grape variety: silvaner Country, region: Germany, Franconia Good with: Salad, Chicken Awarded: De Grote Hamersma 9 If you like a light, fresh white wine that comes across pleasantly fragrant, lingers softly, but truly tastes dry – so not sweet at all – then try this silvaner. Silvaner is a grape from which especially in German Franconia top wines are made. With this divino you bring home a fine example of such a dry, German Silvaner. The nice thing about the juicy Silvaner is that you can drink it on its own, just in the evening on the couch, and that it fits incredibly well with dishes known as tricky for wine. Asparagus with poached egg, spicy pumpkin soup, curries with coconut, Roquefort cheese fondue: a silvaner adapts fearlessly. What also stands out is the bottle, the so-called 'bocksbeutel', symbol of the Franconia region. Very awkward in the fridge, but authentic and original.
