    Extra information

    Wine

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a classic among French wines. He from the south of the Rhone valley, from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyards in and around this old village consist of large boulders that absorb the heat from the sun during the day and transfer it to the grapes at night. As a result, the grapes ripen through and through and give full, thick wines. According to the wine law, many different grape varieties may be used for a Châteauneuf. The fresh, full-fruity wine of Domaine du Grand Tinel consists largely of grenache (83%), supplemented with, among other things, syrah, mourvedre and counoise. The sticks are on average 40 years old. Old vines produce less, but the grapes that come off of them have much more flavor. That also explains the high taste content of this dinner wine. This is one for a quiet meal.
