Grand'Italia pasta Whole wheat is produced in southern Italy. The pasta is made from semolina or wheat semolina, which comes from hard wheat (grano duro). To guarantee the right quality, 100% of the wheat is milled in our own mill. The use of durum wheat results in a firm pasta that gives a perfect 'al dente' bite. This whole wheat pasta is based on 100% whole wheat semolina and is therefore darker in color than regular pasta. Due to its coarse structure, this whole wheat pasta offers a good source of fiber.
