Description
Grand'Italia pasta all'Uovo is produced in southern Italy. The pasta is made from semolina or wheat semolina, derived from durum wheat (grano duro) and free-range eggs. To guarantee the right quality, the wheat is 100% milled in our own mill. The use of durum wheat results in a firm pasta that gives a perfect 'al dente' bite. The use of eggs gives a full flavor to the pasta. Serve this egg pasta with a creamy sauce to enjoy the special taste sensation even more.
The name tagliatelle comes from the Italian word 'tagliare' which means to cut. Tagliatelle is made by rolling up sheets of pasta and cutting them into ribbons.
Recipe (serves 4): Tagliatelle all'Uovo con pesto e pomodori
400g Grand'Italia Tagliatelle all'Uovo, 1 pack of Grand'Italia Pesto alla Genovese (185g), 250 g vine tomatoes, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 4 tbsp pine nuts, 50 g butter, Parmesan cheese (grated).
