Our weizener is certainly not just any wheat beer. It unites the best of two very different types of beer that are traditionally brewed with wheat. The Belgian wheat beer has the fresh Belgian yeast and beautiful herbs. That provides the freshness and the touch of exoticness. We gave it hops from German weizen and wheat common in Germany. Yet the combination of those ingredients does not make Hertog Jan Weizener. It only becomes that in our kettles, where we brew it in our own way into a full-bodied fresh beer with characterful bitter notes and a pleasantly strong aftertaste. A special weizen beer that combines two beautiful styles.
Ingredients: water, BARLEY malt, WHEAT, hops, dried orange peel, coriander, sugar, yeast.
