Winner of the International Salute to Excellence Award 2018, our dry white house wine has been selected as 'best value' wine in the French white category. This wine is made from local grape varieties Colombard and Gros Manseng. Matured in the warm summer sun, this combination produces a fresh, floral and fruity wine with wonderful aromas of citrus and peach. This white wine specially selected by HEMA comes from Gascony, in the southwest of France. The sun-drenched vineyards extend over slopes of 300 to 400 meters in altitude. HEMA house wine: best value French wine 2018 No fewer than 300 private label wines from 39 retailers worldwide participated to win a coveted Salute to Excellence Award. HEMA's dry white house wine was designated as 'best value' white French wine by an international jury consisting of Masters of Wine, wine writers, sommeliers and retail experts. The jury also included Dutch wine experts such as Cees van Casteren MW and Jacqueline Snoeker.
