GUY grapefruit IPA 33cl
GUY grapefruit IPA 33cl
While IPAs are already known for their fruity bitterness, Kerel goes the extra mile by adding fresh grapefruit puree. Explosive fruity. KEREL's roots lie in the Flemish Tielrode, where the beer has been brewed since 1908 by the Verbeeck-Back family. Then a very popular regional beer, which unfortunately disappeared after the death of the brewer. In 2015, the Belgian brewing family De Cock bought the dilapidated brewery. They had no idea what wealth was hidden in the old building. Everyone thought DUDE was lost. However, there was still one bottle hidden under the rubble. The contents of the bottle were analyzed by the brewing team and a team of Belgian experts to determine the yeast DNA. Thanks to extensive research, the same yeast has recently been used again in the renovated VBDCK Brewery (Verbeeck-Back-De Cock), as the brewery goes by today.
