    Usage

Preparation: Requirements: 1 pack of Koopmans Apple Pie, 175 g butter or margarine, 1 egg (M), 1 kg soft and sour apples (approximately 6 pieces, e.g. Elstar or Jonagold), 75 g raisins, 20 g sugar, 2 to 3 teaspoons cinnamon , possibly flower for pollinating countertop. Kitchen utensils: springform pan 24 cm and mixer with dough hooks. Preparation approximately 40 minutes. Baking time 60-75 minutes. Electric oven: 180°C. Fan oven: 165°C. Gas oven: setting 3-4. Preparation: 1) Soak the 75g raisins in lukewarm water (about 15 minutes) and pat them dry. 2) Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven. 3) Grease the springform pan with butter or use a baking spray (e.g. Dr. Oetker). Prepare the dough: 4) Soften the 175 g butter in a mixing bowl and beat the egg in a small bowl. Place 2/3 of the egg in the mixing bowl together with the apple pie mix. 5) Knead the whole with a mixer with dough hooks or by hand into a cohesive dough. If the dough is too sticky, you can put it in the refrigerator for a while. Prepare the filling: 6) Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut the apples into cubes. 7) Mix the apple cubes with 20g sugar, 2 to 3 teaspoons of cinnamon and the raisins. 8) Cover the bottom and the edge of the springform pan with 2/3 of the dough. 9) Fill the mold with the apple mixture and press it down. Create the grid: 10) Dust the countertop with some flour. Roll the remaining dough into thin rolls, flatten them slightly and place them crosswise over the apple mixture. 11) Brush the strips and the edge of the cake with the rest of the beaten egg. Baking: 12) Bake the apple pie for 60-75 minutes until done and golden brown. 13) Let the apple pie cool for about 1 hour before removing the springform pan. Preparation tip: To prevent a moist base, you can sprinkle 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs or 3 crumbled rusks over the base.
