But is that tea also grown sustainably, flavorful, and picked fairly? Often far from it. That is why we started LocalTea, now the first large tea plantation in Western Europe. It was quite a challenge to make the tea plant thrive in our cold climate, but we succeeded. With the shortest chain, we now take the quickest route to a more sustainable tea world! And we do more. We only pick the tops of the plant, and therein lies the secret of quality tea. We do not crush the leaves but roll them carefully, releasing the refined flavors. This way, we want to show and let you taste that tea can be so much better.
