Los Molinos Rosé

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

Spanish rosé usually tastes a bit fuller, riper and firmer than those from Provence. That is why you can eat spicy dishes with it. What makes it so different are, among other things, the grape variety and origin. The Los Molinos Rosado is based on the Spanish tempranillo grape and comes from Valdepenas. This town and the wine region of the same name are centrally located in Spain, south of Madrid and north of Andalusia. Val-de-penas means valley of the stones and refers to the bed of the river that is bone dry in summer due to the lack of rain. Because the temperature in the summer can rise to above 4 degrees Celsius, it is important that the grapes are processed quickly and coolly after harvesting. Only then will you get a rose with a fresh, fruity taste. This is possible in the hypermodern, temperature-controlled cellars of Felix Solis. Felix Solis has been making wines in Valdepenas since 1975.
