Morbier is a French cheese made from raw cow's milk. The cows that provide the milk are fed with grass, hay and herbs, which gives the cheese its characteristic taste. The cheese has an AOP characteristic, which means that the cheese may only be made from raw cow's milk from the Jura arc in France.
