Usage
INSTRUCTIONS
How do you open this package?
The box contains one foil pack and a measuring spoon.
Cut the top edge of the foil package with scissors.
Important: always follow these instructions for use.
There are health risks associated with improper preparation and storage.
1. Wash your hands and make sure the bottle and other materials are clean.
2. Bring water to the boil. Allow the boiled water to cool to lukewarm temperature and pour the required amount into the bottle.
3. Dip the supplied measuring spoon loosely into the powder and smooth it off with a dry and clean knife. Add the correct number of scoops to the water in the bottle.
4. Screw the cap on the bottle and immediately shake vigorously vertically until the powder is completely dissolved (± 10 seconds).
5. Check whether the food is not too warm by dripping it on the inside of your wrist.
6. Storage:
• Always store the food in the original foil packaging. For reasons of hygiene, do not pour the food loose into another container or storage container. However, you can place the foil packaging in its entirety in a storage container.
• Always close the foil package carefully after use.
Do not store the measuring spoon in the powder.
• Store the sealed foil package in a storage box or in the cardboard box in a cool and dry place.
• After opening, the contents can be kept for a maximum of 4 weeks.
• Use prepared food within two hours and throw away leftover food.
• Tip: Boiled water can be kept closed in the refrigerator for 24 hours once it has cooled. Heat the water in the microwave or bottle warmer before use.
IMPORTANT
• Breastfeeding is the best food for your baby.
• Do you want to use Nutrilon 2? Then consult with your health clinic or doctor.
• Nutrilon 2 is a follow-on milk, suitable from 6 months as part of a healthy, varied diet.
• During the first 6 months after birth, Nutrilon 2 is not suitable as a substitute for breastfeeding.
Preparation: Use 1 level scoop per 30 ml of water. It is important that a child drinks quietly. Preferably a feeding moment lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. Too much, too little, or not properly dissolved food or drinking too quickly can cause your child to have tummy problems. Your child will indicate when he has had enough, so he does not always have to drink a bottle completely. The decision to start complementary feeding, possibly also in the first 6 months after birth, should only be taken on the advice of your child health clinic or doctor based on the specific growth and development needs of your baby.
