Colombia's history is intertwined with coffee. The soil is rich in volcanic ash and production is mainly in the hands of small farmers who manage their own plantations in the highlands of Colombia. Just above and just below the equator. Colombia has 2 harvest periods per year: the main harvest with a high yield and the second, smaller harvest, locally called 'Mitaca'. All Arabica berries used are washed after picking, which contributes to the freshness and taste of this coffee. After 1 to 2 days of fermentation, the beans are separated from the pulp. These 100% Colombia coffee beans are therefore of top quality.
Usage
Preparation: these beans are suitable for a fully automatic machine. For the quick filter device, use 1 level coffee measuring spoon (6-7 grams) with ground coffee. Prepare the coffee as you normally would. To use in the cafetière, grind the beans coarsely and pour water that has just finished boiling. Let the coffee steep for 4-5 minutes and gently press the filter down.
