Enjoying a delicious syrup cake means enjoying a real Punselie. It is a delicious syrup biscuit that originated in Gouda and has been manufactured by the Punselie family since the 1940s. The delicious cookies are free from cow's milk ingredients, chicken egg ingredients, lactose, nuts, peanuts and are therefore suitable for many people with a food allergy! In addition, it contains 100% vegetable oil and fat. The Punselie is still great today!
The Punselie baker family moved from Switzerland to the Netherlands around 1643 and started a bakery in Gouda in 1872. Mr. Punselie invented the Punselie syrup cookie by sticking 2 Gouda squares together with a caramel syrup filling in between, so the Punselie was born. Today the company, which produces 40,000 cookies per hour, is led by grandson Ronald Punselie.
Serving tip: Place the Punselie on a plate and put it in the microwave for 10 seconds at 700 watts and enjoy a delicious warm Punselie. BEWARE the cookie is warm!
Usage
Serving: These syrup cookies taste even better if you briefly heat the cookies on a tray in the microwave. (approx. 10 sec. at 8oo watts depending on the number of cookies)
Ingredients: WHEAT flour, sugar, vegetable fat/vegetable oil (palm oil, rapeseed oil), glucose syrup, starch, spices (cinnamon), salt, raising agent: E500, E450a (sodium bicarbonate, acid sodium pyrophosphate), emulsifiers: E322 (sunflower lecithin), flavourings, coloring agent E160a (carotene).
