Sansilvestro Piemonte barbera vino biologico

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

Barbera, you say: bar-be-ra with the accent on be, is not the most famous grape from Piedmont, that is nebbiolo, but it is the most planted there and fantastic wines are made from it. Unlike barolos, made from nebbiolo, most barberas appear lighter, fresher and fruitier. In this organic barbera you can clearly taste the juiciness of ripe red cherry. It is a wine to pair with traditional Italian dishes such as spaghetti bolognese and pizza, but it also works well as a slightly chilled red wine with roasted mackerel or crispy chicken from the oven. The wine comes from San Silvestro, a winery from Novello, not far from the town of Barolo.
