Santa Julia El cabrito cabernet sauvignon natural

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

The Argentinian winery Santa Julia has had a permanent place in our AH range for years with various organic wines and now natural wines have been added. Natural wine means that the wine is made from organically grown grapes and that little or no additives are used during its preparation. The wine ferments without industrial yeasts, but only with the yeast cells that occur on the grape and in the cellar itself and no sulphites are added. Sulfite is a preservative that extends the shelf life and affects the taste of the wine. If that sulphite is missing, as in this cabernet sauvignon, the taste becomes earthier, a bit wilder, spicier and the cassis-like aromas of the grape appear stronger. This goes well with roasted vegetables and meat and spicy cheeses. El Cabrito is Spanish for little goat.
