Limburg farmer’s pâté is a product where Belgian and German culinary influences come together. It is a sliceable pâté with a fairly coarse texture. The Keulen family has been making this for over 50 years according to the same recipe. The pâté contains fried onions, 1 star Better Life quality mark, pork raised by Limburg farmers. Delicious on Limburg black bread, optionally with apple syrup. The village butcher shop of Hulsberg has been in the hands of the Van Jack Keulen family for many years. In 1983, he and his wife Tonny took over the butcher shop from his parents. He has always had a great passion for the butcher’s craft. His craftsmanship has been awarded several times over the years.
