My name is Petra Paas and together with my husband Frans and brother Johnnie we have two branches of the Melik Butcher in Heerlen. Both stores are well-known in Parkstad. About our regional product: We cut pickled lean pork belly along the entire length and spread it with a delicious mixture of different types of mustard. We roll the whole thing up in a spiral and cook the roulade in the oven. Wonderfully tender and tasty. Delicious as a sandwich spread but also as a tapas snack.
