Jan Willem Blanke from Marum in Groningen is the butcher behind this product: as a 16 year old I started as an apprentice butcher at a village butcher where I learned the trade in a traditional way. After this foundation, I also focused as a head butcher and self-employed person on the butcher trade within the supermarket sector. During all these developments in the technical field, I mainly remained myself and the following aspects have always been important: honesty, passion for meat and attention to my environment and person. When I started my own butcher shop with my wife in Marum, Groningen, in 2012, I was able to bring all these aspects together. Our butcher shop is mainly characterized by quality, attention to the customer and purity. Customers feel welcome and attention is paid to explanations about the product, but also to personal stories!
