Extra information
Theranal Hemorrhoids Ointment
Theranal is a medicine that can be used for internal and external hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids or hemorrhoids are swollen blood vessels around the anus. The swelling is caused by too much pressure on the blood vessels. Theranal quickly relieves the symptoms of hemorrhoids such as itching, pain and irritation and ensures that the hemorrhoids shrink. Eventually the hemorrhoids will disappear. Theranal hemorrhoid ointment is suitable for both internal and external hemorrhoids. The ointment can be introduced internally into the anus using an easy-to-use cannula included. The ointment can be applied externally to the affected area, for example, with a cotton pad. The ointment can be used in the morning, evening and after each bowel movement. Theranal ointment contains the active ingredients lidocaine, zinc oxide and bismuth subnitrate. Theranal is also available as a suppository, which can only be used for internal hemorrhoids. Both variants are available without a prescription, but if you experience symptoms for more than 14 days you should consult a doctor. Pregnant women can only use Theranal in consultation with a doctor or midwife.
