Tripel Karmeliet is a masterpiece of the Belgian brewery. Tripel Karmeliet is a balanced beer made with 3 distinctive grains: barley, wheat and oats. An unusual ingredient, oats add a special creaminess and depth to the beer that complements the maltiness of the barley and the freshness of the wheat. As in the traditional Belgian tripel style, Tripel Karmeliet is refermented in the bottle: yet it does not display the bitterness characteristic of other Belgian tripels. A classic, a wonderful specialty beer.
