We call this a second chance washcloth. Not because it has been used before, but because it is made from cotton left over from the production of other textile products. The ecri washcloth with hanging loop is sturdy, nice and thick (550 grams of cotton per m²), soft and dries well. Our designers have chosen a ribbed structure because it leaves less lint in your washing machine and dryer. That is not only better for your towel, but also for these appliances. Both will last longer. This washcloth requires a little more work than a 'regular washcloth'. The price of the washcloth is therefore based on the production process with recycled yarn, the ribbed structure and the weight. By reusing raw materials, we have a positive impact on the environment together. For example, 140 litres of water and 0.4m² more space and land are available to grow food instead of cotton plants. This saves on the use of agricultural machinery and therefore saves 0.1 kg of CO₂.
