These vacuum bottle stoppers, in combination with the vacuum pump (item number 80850015), extend the shelf life of drinking bottles. With the pump you suck the oxygen from the bottle, so that flavors remain tasty and better for longer. Very useful for, for example, a newly opened bottle of wine. Instructions for use for vacuuming: Place the bottle on a flat surface. Press the bottle stopper firmly into the bottle. Place the HEMA vacuum pump straight on the valve. Then move up and down with full strokes. Pull the pump straight up and away from the valve. When the middle ball of the valve has been pulled in, vacuuming has been successful. Check regularly whether the bottle is still properly vacuum sealed. And if you want to loosen the valve, gently push it left and right.
