    Do you fancy a tasty piece of meat that you would only get served in a restaurant? You can now prepare it yourself at home with the Verstegen spice mix steak and gravy! With the handy 2-in-1 spice mix for steak and gravy you can season your steak, steak, tenderloin or ribeye and at the same time make a delicious thickened gravy by adding a dash of water. Tasty and nice and easy!

    Requirements (for 4 people):


    * 500g meat (steak, steak, tenderloin or ribeye)
    * 1 tablespoon of Verstegen herb mix
    * Approx. 50g (liquid) butter
    * Dash of water Preparation method: let the steak come to room temperature and season the meat with the Verstegen spice mix, let it soak in for a while. Heat a frying pan over high heat and add (liquid) butter. Sear the meat on both sides. Reduce the heat and add extra (liquid) butter to the pan and baste the meat with it. Fry the meat until desired doneness. Remove the meat from the pan, let it rest and cover with aluminum foil. Add a splash of warm water to the residue in the pan and let the gravy reduce until it reaches the desired thickness. If necessary, add extra seasoning to the gravy for binding and/or flavor.
