Made by the winemaker of Pichon Longueville, grand cru classé from Pauillac. Often, a château with this kind of reputation also produces a second wine that is more accessible in price, but this winemaker has even chosen to make a very approachable third wine. Truly fantastic quality, far surpassing that of an ordinary Bordeaux Supérieur. Château Pichon Longueville Baron, or Château Longueville, is a wine estate in the Pauillac region in Bordeaux. Château Pichon Longueville Baron is also the name of the famous wine produced here. This wine is classified as one of the fifteen deuxième grands crus classés in the official Bordeaux wine classification of 1855.
