Château David Médoc

A beautifully made Médoc. With clearly recognisable red pepper from the Cabernet Sauvignon and plenty of blackcurrant (cassis). A red wine with good concentration and structure thanks to the clearly present tannins. A true food wine, then. Delicious with lamb or roast red meat. Château David is a family wine estate of the Coutreau family. In 1985 the winery received the prestigious Cru Bourgeois title. And in the following Cru Bourgeois classifications in 2003 and 2005, the Château was once again allowed to bear the title. As you can see, some wines don’t need a wreath—yet still get one.
