That is why Cono Sur named this line Bicicleta. The grapes for this organic chardonnay come from various, relatively cool wine regions. It is warm during the day, but cooler at night, keeping the average temperature low enough for the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Only then do they develop a range of fruity aromas. You can clearly taste this in this fresh, uplifting chardonnay. A small part of the wine, 5%, has matured in wooden barrels, and that little bit of wood aging gives it a soft touch. It is a lovely, feel-good wine to enjoy on its own, without anything else. It also pairs well with creamy dishes like pasta and a rich curry or with oily fish such as salmon.
