Go-Tan Emping Salted

Go-Tan Emping chips salted are highly artisanal nut chips. After harvesting from the melinjo trees in small gardens on Java, the fruits are ripened in baskets. In the middle of the village, they are collected and puffed together, peeled, and manually flattened. One chip consists of three to five seeds. They are then dried together in the sun. After that, they are shipped directly to the Netherlands, where we fry them golden-brown in sunflower oil and pack them. Our family business has been the specialist in this for decades. Emping is eaten with an Indonesian meal or simply as a snack.
