Grand'Italia Traditional Lasagna
Per 250 g
Grand'Italia Tradizionali pasta is made in Southern Italy. The pasta is made from semolina, which is wheat grit derived from hard wheat (grano duro). To ensure the right quality, the wheat is 100% milled in our own mill. Using hard wheat results in a firm pasta that offers the perfect 'al dente' bite.
The invention of the dish lasagne, or laganon, was a milestone in the history of Italian pasta, according to a historian from the first century. At that time, lasagne consisted of layers of dough baked with fillings of meat or fish in between. Centuries later, there are countless different variations, but the most well-known is still the one with ragù and béchamel sauce.
