Grand'Italia Ridged Pipe Pasta

Grand'Italia Tradizionali pasta is made in Southern Italy. The pasta is made from semolina, that is, wheat grits, derived from hard wheat (grano duro). To ensure the right quality, the wheat is 100% milled in our own mill. Using hard wheat results in a firm pasta that offers a perfect 'al dente' bite.

Pipe Rigate are short, thick, curved tubes that somewhat resemble elbow macaroni. The sauce stays nicely in the hollows of the pipe, even if it is a bit coarser.
