Jerez Sherry 887 cream

Color, flavor: sherry, lightly sweet Grape variety: palomino Country, region: Spain, Jerez Good with: Cheese, Dessert In the 1970s and 1980s, sherry was incredibly popular in the Netherlands, and nowadays most people do not even know what sherry tastes like. That is quite a pity, because sherry is a special wine, almost a natural phenomenon. It develops its distinctive flavor in the cellar. There are two styles of dry sherry, namely fino and oloroso. Fino forms a layer of yeast cells on the wine, the 'flor', which protects the wine from light and air. This keeps its pale color and fresh taste. Oloroso is a sherry without that 'flor' and becomes dark in color with a nutty, riper flavor. Medium sherry is a half-sweet oloroso and cream is a sweet one. Blend of sweet sherries. Velvety soft and sweet with aromas of walnut and dried fig. Grape variety: palomino. Flavor: lightly sweet Country, region: Spain, Jerez
