Knorr Meal Mix Broccoli Casserole

Shopping list: 1 head of broccoli, 250 g mushrooms, 1 onion, 100 g peas (frozen), 125 g diced ham, 600 g sliced potatoes, 250 ml light cooking cream, and 50 g grated cheese.
Preparation: preheat the fan oven to 180 °C (conventional oven 200 °C) and grease a baking dish (capacity approx. 2.3 litres). Finely chop the onion. Cut the broccoli into small florets and quarter the mushrooms. Parboil the broccoli florets for about 3 minutes.
Method: 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large wok or frying pan and briefly fry the diced ham. Add the mushrooms, onion, and sliced potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, for the sauce, whisk the cooking cream with the contents of this sachet in a bowl. Then add the sauce to the potato mixture and stir everything well. Bring to a boil and let it simmer gently for 1 minute. Now add the broccoli florets and peas and mix everything thoroughly. 3. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese over the dish. Place the baking dish in the middle of the preheated oven and bake the casserole for about 25 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and crispy. Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
A day without meat? Replace the diced ham with Respeck from the Vegetarian Butcher and sprinkle 75 g chopped walnuts over the dish along with the cheese.
