Kroon van Oranje White

The Dutch are crazy about South African wine. Not only because of the distinctive flavour, but also because the African names are easy to remember. The same goes for Kroon van Oranje, a sub-brand of Boland Kelder from Paarl. The white blend consists of 85% of the locally, human-developed grape Nouvelle, plus 10% Chenin Blanc and 5% Riesling. It is fruity, with peach, lime and lychee. Enjoy it as an aperitif, with Thai crab cakes or Vietnamese spring rolls.
