It is made from garnacha (grenache), a grape variety gaining more fans because of its full, mild flavor. In the heart of Spain, the climate is dry and warm, but in the high vineyards, the nights are cool. Due to the large difference between day and night temperatures, the grapes develop slowly and retain their fruity aromas and fresh acids. This creates a wine in balance. You can taste that. The Mesta Garnacha is delightful for a relaxed evening on the couch, with tasty cheeses alongside. Moreover, it is certainly suitable for the table. Especially with spicy, seasoned dishes, with or without meat, it pairs well. Recently, it won a gold medal at the international wine contest in Brussels.
