Patak's Butter chicken spice paste
Butter chicken (also known as murgh makhani in Indian eateries) is a delightfully rich and creamy stew dish. Mild, yet bursting with flavour. With Patak's spice blends, you can create your own tasty stew. Also perfect for marinades. Spice paste with, among others, ginger, coriander, and cumin. Mild in taste. When the Indian Pathak family moved to Great Britain in 1956, they began selling Indian treats from home. The family wished to share their cultural heritage and the flavours of India with as many people as possible! They did this by turning spice mixes into sauces and pickling vegetables for delicious chutneys. In this way, they made it possible for everyone to quickly conjure up their own Indian meal at the table.
