The Pecorino grape is named after the sheep that snack on the ripe Pecorino grapes in the vineyard. This white wine comes from Terre di Chieti IGT, a sub-region of Abruzzo. Twenty percent of the wine matures in large oak casks. It is lively and fresh, with minerality, yellow apple, peach, and lemon. Full of flavor with a slight bitterness. Try serving it with Pecorino cheese.
