Currently, the brothers Luigi and Antonio lead the team, which mostly consists of cousins. A warm, Italian family who agree that everyone should taste the wines from Abruzzo. The full-bodied, red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the best-known wine from the rugged wine region, but the Ulisse family makes more like this fruity rosé. It is remarkably fresh for a wine from such a southern, warm area, and that is due to the way Luigi’s make the wine. They cool the grapes immediately after harvest, then press gently and ferment at a low temperature in stainless steel vats. Thanks to that low temperature and the choice of stainless steel, this rosé remains sparkling fresh and distinctly fruity. That sounds like a fine wine to enjoy with drinks and light dishes.
