Undurraga Rosé
0.75 Liter
A fine example of the new rosé of today. More colour, more flavour, a bit of firmness, but not heavy. Goes well with shashliks, tuna, and grilled vegetables. Also nice for a casual drink. Colour, flavour: rosé, dry Grape variety: cabernet sauvignon Country, region: Chile, Central Valley Good with: Salad, Chicken Awarded: De Grote Hamersma 7.5 Chilean wines are popular here. This is due to their full, fruity aromas and the soft aftertaste, making them pleasant to drink on their own, as a drink with snacks, or while watching TV. The people at Undurraga, a winery that has existed since 1885, are experts in their craft, but nature lends a strong hand as well. Nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, Chile may have the best conditions in the world for growing wine grapes. Due to its isolated location, few diseases occur. Healthy grapes form a fine base for tasty wine. The climate also helps. Sunny by day and cool at night: this ensures even ripening of the grapes. And although it rains little there, the snow in the Andes provides enough meltwater for irrigation.
