Valdivieso was the first winery in South America to start producing sparkling wines, back in 1879. A hundred years later, in 1980, the family began making still wines. Their philosophy is to use the best possible grapes and to preserve the grapes’ aromatic and flavour characteristics as much as possible. This means the flavour from oak ageing should never be too dominant. With Chile’s ideal wine climate and great care for the grapes, the winery now produces excellent wines that earn many international accolades. But perhaps most importantly, outstanding value for money is a hallmark of all their wines.
